How to make Tasty, Healthy Oats Upma at Home

oats is a weight loss superfood  high in protein and low in calories which make it the perfect food for a flat stomach. oats take time to digest in the body and hence tend to burn calories. A healthy bowl of oatmeal helps promote sleep because of its contains of calcium magnesium and potassium. so we can take even at Nights or else you can have some oatmeal cookies on your table side and eat before going to bed. You can also eat raw oats but it is recommended to soak them in water, juice, Milk or non Dairy Milk.

How to make oats Upma  at home?

 

You can make oats Upma in a simple process and can be healthy. You can also make in various ways like oats dosa, vegetable oats porridge,  oats Pongal,  oats pesarattu or any.

 

Ingredients for oats Upma:

 

oil

mustard seeds

cumin seeds

oats

chana dal

urad dal

peanuts

cashews

grated Ginger

curry leaves

onions

carrot

salt

lemon juice

green chilis

 

 

preparation for oats Upma :

 

First dry roast 1 cup oats and fry it on a medium flame.  Now take a pan and add one and half tablespoon oil in a pan. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal and urad dal.  After they get popup add peanuts and cashews nuts. Now add chopped onions and green chilies fry till the onions turn transparent. Now add mixed vegetables then Sprinkle some salt and add half cup water. finally add roasted oats mixer and cook it for few minutes you can add lemon juice and enjoy with curd.
